The scientific program, which took place in 2 parallel halls, included 3 plenary lectures presented by top analytical chemists from the USA. 58 speakers from Israel as well as from Belgium, Germany, India, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, UK and USA presented lectures of best professional quality. Professionals presented 33 Posters from Australia, Austria, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Russia, South Africa, The Netherlands, USA and UK.

First Prize
The best Poster Award and a symbolic financial contribution of 2,000 NIS in addition to 2,500 NIS of laboratory consumables, contribution of Platinum Sponsor Mercury Dionex, was granted to:
Maya Kochman (co-author: Aviv Amirav) from the Tel Aviv University, for their poster presentation of: "GC-GC-MS with Supersonic Molecular Beams"
