| It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in ISRANALYTICA 2006, The 9th Annual Meeting of the Israel Analytical Chemistry Society – Conference and Exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in January 17 & 18, 2006, in the David InterContinental Hotel, in Tel-Aviv, Israel. In the recent years, the Conference has expanded its scope and achieved major successes. In the 2005, more than 1200 participants, from the academy and industry, covering all major laboratories and companies in Israel, have attended the Conference. The extensive scientific program included oral lectures (in parallel sessions) and a large poster session, featuring speakers from Israel and abroad. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to announce that the Conference has been expanded and starting with our next 9th Meeting, on January 2006, it will become an international event. The announcements of the Conference will be distributed worldwide, in addition to the local distribution. Our objective is to invite the international analytic chemistry community to share ideas and needs and to improve the professional communication between local Societies worldwide. Plans are well underway to bring you a most exciting up-to-date program with stimulating topics. Leading researchers from academy and industry, from Israel and abroad, will present current results and discuss tomorrow's developments. This Conference is an opportunity to present our achievements, to strengthen contacts with old friends from Israel and visitors from abroad and to create new contacts with top experts in the field of analytical chemistry. I wish to encourage you and your students and colleagues to submit abstracts for oral presentations and posters. I want to encourage you and your co-workers to attend this upcoming conference that we feel will be a memorable scientific and professional occasion. Please contact your colleagues from abroad and invite them to submit papers and to attend the conference. With your help we can make this meeting the premier symposium on Analytical Chemistry.
